I started off by looking for an environment that had a good amount of space, and that I thought would make for a fun place to create a cinematic in. This ultimately ended up being an apartment space used for testing ArchViz builds. I started off by removing almost all props from the scene to start working from a clean slate. After that was done I began to rebuild the apartment with a variety of different props from several different asset packs. I also added an additional room in the form of a balcony in the back of the apartment. After that was done I went in and redid the lighting to make the space feel more lively.
The lighting went a long way in bringing the space to life and creating an apartment that felt inhabited and welcoming.
After the apartment was finalized I went in and added some film grain and lens flare in order to get the visual effect I wanted in preparation for the final edits in Premiere Pro.
